Educational Resources

From science experiments to community outreach ideas, you’ll find lots of ways to actively engage your learners in all aspects of sustainability.

Science Experiments

Sustainability science explores the interactions between natural and social systems and how those interactions affect the challenges of sustainability. This field of research aims to answer the question, “How can we meet the needs of current and future generations while substantially reducing poverty?”

We’ve chosen to create science lessons that tackle this topic in a way that all age groups can understand, using simple household materials and a whole lot of fun!

Nature Activities

Foster a love to the natural world and demonstrate to students their interconnectedness with all life on Earth with these simple, hands-on activities.

Up-cycled Art Projects

Demonstrate the value of raw materials and curate creative minds by utilizing items that would normally be recycled or thrown in the trash to create art that’s both functional and beautiful. Many of these ideas can also be utilized as excellent STEM challenges!

Community Outreach

Provide learners with ways that they can volunteer in their community, work with others and build skills needed to become responsible global citizens.
